Intramuscular Injection Therapy

Injections are one of the most common health care procedures!

Here at Pure Wellness, we offer many different types of injections to support you on your health journey!

Many patients are curious to know if Intramuscular Injections are better than oral forms of nutrients. The answer to this question is not the same for everyone, but intramuscular or intravenous may allow for faster absorption for patients vs oral supplementation, especially in patients with digestive absorption issues. See resources below.

What Intramuscular Injections does Pure Wellness Group offer?

Vitamin B12 & Folic Acid

The frequency and the amount of Vitamin B12 or Folic Acid is dependant on what outcomes you are trying to achieve. Lower, less frequent dosing can be used to maintain healthy levels required for healthy function of our nervous system. However, higher and more frequent dosing may be used to address deficiencies, including those associated with certain medications such as anti-acids or oral birth control. Patients who choose a vegetarian diet may be low in Vitamin B12 and folate, and may benefit from B12 injections.

Nausea

This combination of Vitamin B12, Folic Acid and Vitamin B6 is a non-pharmaceutical option some patients use for pregnancy-related nausea.

Weight Loss

This combination of nutrients is used to help support healthy metabolism and energy production. Although this is not intended to stimulate weight loss, this injection may help support the energy patients need to stay motivated and on track with their weight loss goals.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D injections may be an option for people with poor intestinal absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, or those with low nutritional intake of vitamin D and who have low laboratory-tested serum levels of Vitamin D. Injections may be helpful for people with low Vitamin D levels who are finding it difficult to attain normal Vitamin D levels with oral supplementation.
