Dr. Allan Price B.Sc., ND

Dr. Allan Price is a Naturopathic Doctor registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario and a Medical Director at Pure Wellness Group. He has over 25 years of clinical experience and has treated thousands of patients. He has supported Pure Wellness Group since 2011, as First Response Team Lead and Director of the Cancer Care Program, at Pure Wellness Group’s Naturopathic Cancer Care Clinic.

Dr. Price has focused his practice on cancer care for over 25 years. He also focuses on cardiac care, hormone therapy, anti-aging medicine, pain management, and infectious diseases such as Lyme Disease. Dr. Price also stays current in intravenous (IV) nutritional therapy to support a variety of health concerns.

Dr. Tara O’Brien H.B.Sc., ND

Dr. O’Brien is a naturopathic doctor based in Northern Ontario focusing on women’s health, hormone balance, and fertility. Her practice is family-oriented, with a focus on women’s health, hormonal balancing, fertility challenges, digestive complaints, weight loss, anti-aging and chronic illness. She practices evidence-informed primary care medicine and believes in an integrative approach that uses multiple modalities. Tara has a great passion for empowering others to improve their own health, and thereby their quality of life, through naturopathic and functional medicine.

Phil Beauchamp NP

Phil is a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of front-line and specialty experience. He blends conventional medical care with functional and integrative approaches to help patients address root causes, support vitality, and manage complex chronic conditions. Phil’s clinical interests include cardiovascular risk reduction, hormone optimization, chronic disease management, and integrative primary care. He provides thorough intakes, evidence-informed testing, and personalized plans that may include medication, specialized labs, IV therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies. Phil values partnership in care, listens closely, and works collaboratively with the Pure Wellness Group naturopathic team to offer patients both medical and holistic options.

Dr. Megan Brousseau HBSc, ND

Dr. Megan Brousseau was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioural Neuroscience at Laurentian University before completing the four-year Doctor of Naturopathy program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Dr. Brousseau’s clinical approach is evidence-informed, patient-centered, and thorough. She is passionate about helping individuals feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their own health. She takes the time to understand each person’s story, explore potential underlying contributors, and create individualized treatment plans that are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to their needs.

Dr. Brad Jones DC

Dr. Jones started chiropractic care as a teenager playing hockey and found relief from back pain and sports injuries from chiropractic care. This started him on the road to becoming a chiropractor.

He attended the University of Western Ontario and received a honours degree in kinesiology and a degree in education. The Dr. Jones attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated in 1997.

His practice philosophy has always been trying to move patients along the road to wellness. To take someone from a state of poor health, pain, poor sleep, and lack of energy back to healthy, happy, exercising, eating right and loving life is deeply fulfilling.

Dr. Brad Jones

Sarah Parsons MA, RP

Sarah Parsons is a Registered Psychotherapist who has been working in private practice for 3 years. She recently opened her own practice, Realign Psychotherapy, in August 2019. Sarah is a member with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has experience in both the public and private sectors. She is trained in perinatal mood disorders, Prolonged Exposure therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). In treating clients, Sarah takes an all-inclusive approach, applying the appropriate treatment modalities to meet the needs of each individual. More specifically, Sarah has direct experience in treating individuals with anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, and perinatal mood disorders.

We provide treatment for youth and adults with mental illness, more specifically anxiety and mood disorders. Other areas of focus include interpersonal skills, self-awareness, relationship issues, grief, burnout, goal setting, emotional awareness and life transitions such as motherhood and career changes.

Sarah Parsons

Kaarina Ranta RP

Kaarina (she/her) is a RSSW Psychotherapist with OCSWSSW/Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Workers and is registered with OAMHP/ Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. Kaarina has worked in the mental health field for the last 15 years, both publicly and privately and is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. Kaarina utilizes her background in visual arts to offer clients the ability to blend creative expression into the therapeutic process, and uses somatic practices to assist clients in building their own individual toolbox that nourishes mind and body experiences. Kaarina works with both adults and children, 8 years of age and up, to treat anxiety, grief and trauma. Kaarina is also a registered VQRP/ Victim Quick Response counselor and offers free 15 minute consultations.

Erica Salo RN

Erica Salo has over 20 years of experience in the Health Care Sector working with people as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings and circumstances, one of her main goals is to embrace feeling and looking your best. “When you feel good, you look good and when you look good, you feel good!” Erica’s Aesthetic Nursing solutions include Microblading and Nano Brows, HA Filler and Neuromodulators (anti-wrinkle, treating gummy smile and offering options for cosmetic lip enhancements, and preventing excess oil and sebum production). She also has a background in Mindfulness and Community/Family Health. She believes in fostering community well-being and is always collaborating and adopting new concepts pertaining to the health and wellness of the mind and body.

Erica Salo

Maureen Keaney O’Brien CYW, BSW, MSW Registered Social Worker

Maureen is a graduate of Cambrian College’s Child and Youth Worker Program. As well she holds a Bachelor of Social Work and Masters of Social Work from Laurentian University. She brings 40 plus years of diverse practice experience working in various domains of mental health, education, child welfare and corrections to the practice.

Focus of counselling expertise includes: children and youth, family and effective parenting practices as well as individual counselling.

Interventions are individually based and responsive to specific identified needs of individuals and /or their families.

Tammy Simpson Office Manager

With a strong background in the service industry, Tammy has always had a passion for working with people and creating positive experiences. She believes that kindness, genuine connection, and a welcoming attitude can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day. She takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes while ensuring that every person who walks through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and cared for. She believes that a friendly smile, a listening ear, and a helping hand can make all the difference.

Tammy is naturally well-organized and dependable, with a strong attention to detail. If you ask anyone who knows her, they’ll tell you she’s a lover of spreadsheets, she says there’s something very satisfying about turning a little chaos into an organized, colour-coded spreadsheet!

Outside of work, she’s happily married and a proud mom of grown twins. Life has also given her the wonderful gift of becoming a Gigi, and her granddaughter is truly the joy in her life. Nora brings so much love, laughter, and happiness into Tammy’s world.

With 15 years of experience in the medical field, Heather is dedicated to creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient who walks through the door. As a receptionist, she understands that a friendly smile, a listening ear, and a kind word can make all the difference. Known for her light-hearted personality and genuine compassion, Heather takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive. She is passionate about health and wellness and believes that every patient deserves kindness, respect, and exceptional service. Whether she is assisting with appointments, answering questions, or simply brightening someone’s day, Heather is committed to ensuring each patient feels valued and has a positive experience from start to finish.

Yvette Tessier

Yvette is our always friendly and hard-working clinical assistant. Yvette was born in Killarney, Ontario. She studied and practiced as an RPN for most of her career. She has worked at Extendicare York, Regency Residence and Daffodil Terrace Lodge. She also spent many years as a laboratory technician at MDS Laboratories and Health Sciences North. She has a beautiful daughter Taylor and fabulous twin boys, Sheldon and Tyson. Yvette loves the outdoors, enjoys hunting and fishing, and boating with family and friends. She has spent 18 years of bliss with her fiancé, Jean-Yves (our resident handyman!).

What happens at a first appointment?

When you visit Pure Wellness, your health care provider will complete a full assessment of your health and medical history so that any condition you are suffering from can be addressed in an appropriate manner.

When is the clinic open?
  • Monday – Thursday: 9am – 5pm
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed
